What is your current state of health and where would you like it to be?
We often have a lot of reasons not to take care of ourselves to our best ability. Do you often take care of others, but seem to have no time to take care of yourself? Is the flood of health information too overwhelming or confusing? Do you feel like you don’t have the time and energy to create a manageable wellness plan that will work for you?
We all get stopped in different areas. It might be around food, exercise, sleep, mindfulness, or even finding time for play. As a coach, I meet you where you are and encourage you to get curious, explore your strengths and create a plan designed to support you specifically where you need it.
We will close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
The outcomes of health coaching can be less stress, more clarity about day-to-day decisions around food, exercise, sleep, relationships and more. You may develop increased resilience in the face of illness and more joy in living.

“Elizabeth is a kind, caring, supportive and very professional coach and mentor. She is knowledgeable, encouraging of my “wins” and helps me find ways to work around my resistance. She gently holds me accountable so that I can continue moving forward. I would give her my highest recommendation.”

How I coach
Health and wellness coaching is about self-discovery, not a “one-size fits all” prescription. I listen closely and help you connect with and trust your inner wisdom about what is best for you.
Our relationship is a partnership. By committing to working together throughout the coaching process, we’ll create a plan that works for you. First, we identify your values and strengths. You will create a vision for what you are wanting for yourself right now and we will design a plan with specific action steps that can help you establish new habits to improve your health and wellbeing. Sometimes your action steps will be very small, because it turns out that positive health outcomes are often a result of gradual, steady changes.
I’ll encourage you to embrace an experimental mindset where together we discover what works for you and what may not.
Knowing that change is not linear, I’m here to support you throughout your journey. We’ll identify potential obstacles and make adjustments when needed. We will establish accountability plans and support systems to ensure your success. Together we will work towards the life you imagine for yourself.
As a Duke-trained, nationally board-certified health coach (NBC-HWC), an ADAPT-certified functional health coach (A-CFHC) with meditation and mindful self-compassion (MSC) teacher training, I am here to support you holistically on multiple levels.
